I have been a member of St. Luke for over thirty years. I have a deep love for worship, choral and sacred music, and involving children, adults and as many instruments as we can!  It is a special joy for me to welcome all who come to St. Luke to discover their own way of lifting their voice in praise to God, through word, song, and service – equipping us all to lead lives that glorify God both here at St. Luke and in our communities.

Music Groups:

The Chancel Choir supports the congregation in singing every Sunday, and presents an anthem most weeks as a special offering to God.  We rehearse every Wednesday night from 7:30 to 9, preparing for the Sunday to come and for the months and special seasons ahead.  It is our tradition to prepare for an annual Christmas concert, and for meaningful music throughout Holy Week, culminating in a rousing Hallelujah Chorus on Easter Sunday to which all are invited to participate!  Great understanding and flexibility are offered to those singers who cannot commit to weekly participation – we still want your voice!!  The choir warms-up every Sunday at 8:45 a.m.

We look forward to involving our children as often as we can –  with simple songs, playing along with rhythm instruments, and preparing for the Christmas pageant.

The St. Luke Orchestra invites all instrumentalists to join.  The current group of trumpets, trombones, saxophone, tuba, oboe, flute, organ, piano delights us every time they participate in our service.  The orchestra is led by Bettie Ross who is immensely gifted in arranging any song for the instruments at hand!

Instrumentalists are also invited to participate in accompanying the choir or congregation.
